Zhou Min Ni
Co-Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Zhou Min Ni and his wife Chan Sin Wong are the founders and principals of the original HF Group Holding, which is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of HF Foods Group Inc. (“HFFG”). They came to the United States in 1989 from Fuzhou, the provincial capital of Fujian, China.
Like many Fuzhounese who migrated to the US, they had their humble beginning by working in Chinese takeout restaurants. After gaining valuable experience and having saved enough capital, they established their own restaurants and soon realized there was immerse potential in the food supply business to the takeout restaurants.
Hence, Han Feng Inc. was officially founded in 1997 and marked the beginning of HFFG.
Xiao Mou Zhang aka Peter Zhang
Co-Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Peter Zhang was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of B&R Global Holdings, Inc. (“B&R”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HFFG and the holding company for the various operating subsidiaries founded by Peter and his partners who were all originally from China. Peter has over 20 years of experience in the food distribution industry with extensive experience in sales, marketing, financing, acquisitions, inventory, logistics and distribution dating as far back to 1999 working from the ground up. Having established a large supplier network and maintaining long-term relationships with many major suppliers were built up over the years, and under Peter’s leadership, B&R was officially formed in 2014 as a holding company to consolidate the various operating entities all under one roof.
Kong-Hian Lee aka Victor Lee
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Victor Lee brings with him over 25 years of extensive experience in strategic planning, sales & marketing, corporate finance, asset management, trade finance and investment banking in senior management capacity at various world renowned financial institutions including Citibank N.A., Deutsche Bank AG and Morgan Stanley Asia, as well as a C-suite Executive in other publicly listed corporations like CNMC Goldmine Ltd and Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc.
Mr. Lee began his career at Citibank N.A., Singapore in early 1993, managing small- and medium-sized corporate banking business. Over the years, he progressed to the title of Managing Director and was appointed the Singapore Country Market Head in the Private Wealth Management Division within Deutsche Bank AG in 2004. Mr. Lee joined Morgan Stanley Asia in 2007 as Head of Singapore/Malaysia markets in the Private Wealth Management Group before he left and founded Tertius Financial Group, a boutique corporate advisory and private investment firm in 2009. Victor was the Chief Executive Officer of Administration and Finance at CNMC Goldmine Ltd. between 2010 – 2011 and has been the Chief Executive Officer of Ascent Solar Technologies since early 2012. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Master of Science degree in Wealth Management from the Singapore Management University.
Sha J Zhang
Chief Accounting Officer
Ms. Zhang has nearly 20 years of experience in the accounting and finance field from both public and private practices. Prior to the merger of HF Group and B&R Global Holdings, Sha was the Chief Financial Officer for the legacy B&R operation from early 2016 to November 2019 that consisted of more than 40 subsidiaries in West and Mountain West regions. Prior to joining B&R Global Holdings, Sha spent 13 years in the public accounting arena advising and serving privately held businesses across a wide swath of industries, with emphasis on technology, construction, professional service, and distribution companies throughout Southern California.
Chief Internal Control Officer
Caixuan Xu has been employed by the Company since February 1, 2019 and has nearly 20 years of accounting and financial management experience. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Xu served as the Vice President of Finance of Ninestar (Lexmark), as the Finance Director (Greater China CFO) for RedHat, and as the Chief Financial Officer of Shouqi Car Rental in Beijing, China since 2016.
Prior to that, she spent five years in finance positions with Lenovo in Morrisville, NC and Beijing, China, most recently as Senior Finance Manager and Controller. Before joining Lenovo, Ms. Xu held finance and auditor positions with Credit Suisse and PwC in Durham and Raleigh, NC, which followed her earlier career in public accounting firms (PwC and Tin Wha CPAs) in Beijing, China.
Ms. Xu earned a BS in Accounting from The Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, China, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Freeman School of Business in New Orleans, LA. She is a CPA, certified in both the State of North Carolina and Beijing, China (inactive). She has also passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.
