PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

This position will work in partnership with business partners and internal teams to ensure maximum value out of the Workday product suite. The role is responsible for providing Workday support across Workday module(s), understanding business partners requirements, and configuring, designing and delivering solutions that best fit their needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configures Workday to enhance and support all Finance & Human Capital Management modules
  • Conducts system and process analysis for all modules to identify enhancement and efficiency opportunities and implement complex Workday configuration changes.
  • Drives continuous improvement of Workday including leading configuration and testing for semi-annual Workday updates.
  • Serve as primary Workday configuration administration expert for all functionality, including end to end implementation and testing.
  • Partner third-party vendors to define, build and implement integrations utilizing Workday Studio as needed.
  • Establish policies, procedures, and documentation requirements to optimize feature request in-take and implementation processes.
  • Develop and execute production of reports, dashboards, and analytics to enable our Accounting & Finance and HR leadership teams to identify trends and empower decision-making.
  • Work in a project management capacity to help gather requirements, evaluate, and implement new Workday features, modules or integrations.
  • Maintain Roadmap for future implementation and system enhancement projects.

Operational Support and Resolution:

  • Serve as system expert and resource for end user support exemplifying exceptional customer service.
  • Understand Workday security, segregation of duties and controls to effectively manage and maintain security and roles.
  • Integrations support including troubleshooting or modifying both Workday-packaged and custom integrations.
  • Support Workday transactions as required during critical processing periods, or higher volume windows such as year-end, benefits open-enrollment, and budget.
  • Maintain productive partnerships with functional stakeholders to understand institution policies, processes and business standards and advise them on how to align with Workday best practices to meet their needs.
  • Develop, prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, user guides and online trainings for configuration, reporting, integrations and other subject areas as needed.
  • Communication of Workday release schedules as well as upcoming enhancements and features or known issues.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Workday Financials, HCM, Benefits, Talent, Payroll, Recruiting and Adaptive Insights.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Finance, Business or Systems Analyst, with prior implementation experience in Workday or other ERP solution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial concepts and applications, with a solid understanding of accounting rules and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting and human resources administration; of pertinent federal and state laws and regulations is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical problem and data modeling experience. Experience applying these skills to resolve operational performance problems is a plus.
  • Experience implementing multiple projects at the same time. Must be able to thrive in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in defining system strategy, developing system requirements, designing, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial transactions, system configurations, and impact of ERP transactions on the General Ledger and supporting financial schedules.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (including senior management team) and articulate ideas, analysis results and actionable recommendations.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

  • BS/BA degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, mathematics, information systems or related field.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
