PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

The primary function of this position is to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues as reported by internal customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide telephone, remote, or in-person IT service and support to all HF Foods team members

· Monitor ticket queues, resolve assigned tickets with appropriate assistance from other team members and third-party vendors, escalate tickets as needed until resolved

· Deliver excellent customer service to end users in a timely fashion providing follow-up as needed and documenting all end-user interactions in the IT Help Desk application

· Install and configure hardware and software components in accordance with IT policies

· Assist with performing preventative maintenance, patches and upgrades on all technological equipment on a scheduled basis

· Assist with the procurement and inventory of IT assets

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Knowledge of Help Desk IT operations

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Experience troubleshooting various PC hardware and software platforms

· Ability and willingness for occasional travel to east coast company sites (from Greensboro, NC location) or to west coast company site (from Las Vegas, NV location) is a plus

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

· Two years’ experience diagnosing and resolving computer hardware and software issues for end users
